Lucky enough to be heading out to Indio, California for this weekend's Coachella Festival? Set times and stages have been posted today on the festival's website, but you might have to make some anxious sprints and hard decisions, like Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti vs. The Pains of Being Pure At Heart vs. Tame Impala. Or The Strokes bumping heads with Ratatat, Chromeo and Phantogram. What to do?
If you can't make it or not willing to weather the mid-90s desert heat that's forecast for this weekend, Coachella will be streaming some performances via YouTube, with The National, PJ Harvey, The Black Keys, Bright Eyes, Mumford & Sons and more set for the webcast.
Headliners are Arcade Fire, Kanye West, Kings of Leon and The Strokes, but bands like Animal Collective, Broken Social Scene, The Kills, Empire of the Sun, Foals, Elbow, Warpaint, The Joy Formidable, Crystal Castles, Kele and Cee Lo Green are bolstering a pretty strong 2011 lineup. Nice surprises, like the reunited Big Audio Dynamite, Suede (or Stateside, The London Suede) and Ms. Lauryn Hill are set and buzzed-over newcomers like Cults and Odd Future are also slated.
